What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a natural, evidence-informed healthcare approach that focuses on the relationship between the spine and nervous system. It’s based on the principle that when the spine is properly aligned, the body can function more efficiently and heal more effectively.
At the heart of chiropractic care are gentle, hands-on adjustments that restore motion to joints—especially in the spine—that may be restricted due to injury, stress, or everyday strain. These adjustments help reduce pain, improve mobility, and support the nervous system’s ability to regulate and heal the body.
Research supports chiropractic as an effective, drug-free option for managing conditions like low back pain, neck pain, and some types of headaches (Paige et al., 2017; Gross et al., 2015). It's a safe and non-invasive choice for those seeking natural relief and whole-body support.
At Hebdon Chiropractic, we view chiropractic not just as a way to manage discomfort, but as a pathway to better balance, movement, and overall well-being. Every person’s body and story is different, so our care is always personalized with your goals in mind.
Many of our patients share that they feel lighter, more at ease, and more in tune with their bodies after treatment. We offer care that’s gentle, thoughtful, and rooted in respect for your body’s natural wisdom.
Curious if chiropractic is a good fit for you? We’re here to answer any questions and help you feel confident in your care.

How many visits do I need?
There’s no one-size-fits-all answer when it comes to chiropractic care. The number of visits you’ll need depends on several factors—including your condition, how long you’ve had it, your lifestyle, and how your body responds to care.
Some patients experience noticeable relief in just a few visits, especially when dealing with mild or recent injuries. Others with chronic pain, postural issues, or long-term conditions may require a more extended treatment plan to see lasting results.
At Hebdon Chiropractic, we believe in personalized care. That means we don’t follow a cookie-cutter model or recommend unnecessary visits. Instead, we take the time to assess your needs and goals, then create a care plan that’s specific to you.
Research supports that chiropractic adjustments can help reduce pain and improve function, especially in cases of low back pain, neck pain, and headaches (Paige et al., 2017). Some patients also choose to continue with periodic “maintenance” or wellness visits to help prevent future issues and support overall spinal health—though this is always optional and not everyone needs it (Goertz et al., 2017).
Ultimately, your care plan is a collaboration. We’ll monitor your progress, check in regularly, and adjust your treatment based on how you're doing—not based on a fixed schedule.
If you’re wondering what your plan might look like, we’d love to meet you, listen to your story, and guide you through the process.
