Did you know that our diets can play a big role on our bodies inflammatory response?  In the following blog we identify 5 foods that you can add to your diet to assist in inflamamtion support.  Remember: by chosing a diet low in sugars and salt we can decrease pain!

  1. Fish – containing Omeg-3 Fatty acids, also try walnuts or flaxseeds.
  2. Oranges – boosts the immune system and decrease oxidative stress.  This reduces joint pain!  You can also try grapefruit or bell peppers.
  3. Green Tea -filled with antioxidants.
  4. Purple grapes – contains a specific antioxidant called proanthocyanidin which decreases inflammation.  You can also try cranberries, cherries, and cinnamon.
  5. Ginger – contains gingerols which has been shown to reduce inflammation associated with osteoarthritis.
