It is common that patients come to our clinic with back and neck pain. In fact, these are the most common things that I see my patients come in for. I do get asked the question repeatedly: “Can you help me with joint pain in my knee, shoulder or hip?” This Is why I wanted to create a blog that mentions the ways a chiropractor can help with your pain beyond the norm. Here are the top five things I see patients come in with often outside of neck and low back pain. These are conditions or complaints that chiropractic can aid in and manage with treatment. Remember that each case is different and if you have any questions about your specific case, please contact your chiropractor, our office, or any of your other medical providers.

1.Relief During Pregnancy- Chiropractic can help with pregnancy pain and stiffness and is known to be extremely safe.

2.Extremity Pain- This means pain in an arm, shoulder, knee, foot, hip etc. Chiropractors are specialty medical providers with a doctorate. While most schooling is centered around the spine, we also have adequate knowledge of anatomy and therapy to assist with joint issues.

3.Headaches- Chiropractic can help with both headaches and migraines. Often chiropractic can help with the frequency and intensity of cervicogenic headaches.

4. Arthritis- We see patients with arthritis regularly. In fact, it is highly recommended that patients who have arthritis keep their joints mobile. MOTION IS LOTION. This means a visit to your chiropractor can help manage your stiffness and pain.

5. Chiropractic for Children- We see children in the office often. It could be after a sports injury or for a routine wellness visit. We are always open to parents bringing their children in to acclimate them to the office and help bring awareness to the benefits of chiropractic care at an early age.

Did you know chiropractic can help with these things? If you didn’t and are a current patient or a prospective patient, please don’t hesitate to ask us questions about how we can serve you!
